Publications of the Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences is an editorial series published since 1962, initially (until 1970) entitled "Materiały i Prace Instytutu Geofizyki PAN". At present it contains the following subject series:

In 2010, the journal Publications of the Institute Institute of Geophysics underwent a major change. The Institute signed an agreement with Springer to expand major part of the Monographic Volumes of our journal into a new GeoPlanet: Earth and Planetary Sciences Book Series, whose editors represent the consortium GeoPlanet (Earth and Planetary Research Centre) formed by four institutes affiliated with the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Publications of the Institute of Geophysics is now mainly, but not exclusively, an internet free-access journal, concerned with results of observations and measurements from the Institute's stations and observatories.
