Seismological Bulletin 2004. Polish Broadband Seismic Stations SUW, KWP, WAR, GKP, KSP, OJC, RAC, NIE
Author(s): Jankowska W., Kowalski P., Zych A.
Volume: 385
Series: B-38
Volume: 385
Series: B-38
The year 2004 was unique not only because of the occurrence on December 26 of a giant M = 8.8 earthquake near the coast of Sumatra and the following tsunami, causing over 200,000 casualities on the coasts of the Indian Ocean. The year saw also the totally unexpected earthquakes of Kaliningrad Region on September 21, the greatest earthquakes ever noted in Northern Poland and a relatively strong quake in Podhale Region in Southern Poland on November 30, spurting off a long series of aftershocks.
Meteorological Conditions, Hornsund, Spitsbergen 2004/2005
Author(s): Kwaczyński J.

Volume: 384
Series: D-69
The Polish Polar Station (77°00'N, 15°33'E) of the Institute of Geophysics is located nearby the entrance to the Hornsund fiord (Spitsbergen). It is situated at the northern shore of the fiord, by the Isbjornhamna bay, at a height of about 10 m a.s.l. The fiord's axis extends, roughly speaking, from east to west. The fiord is approximately 30 km long, 5-15 km wide, and penetrates the island upto half of its width.
Results of Atmospheric Electricity and Meteorological Observations, S. Kalinowski Geophysical Observatory at Świder - 2004
Author(s): Kubicki M.
Volume: 383
Series: D-68
Volume: 383
Series: D-68
The present issue contains the results of recordings of some elements of atmospheric electricity and daily observations of major meteorological factors noted at the S. Kalinowski Geophysical Observatory of the Polish Academy of Sciences at Świder in 2004. Data for the years 1957-1965 have been published in "Prace Obserwatorium Geofizycznego im. S. Kalinowskiego w Świdrze" and for 1966-2004 in "Publications of the Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences".
Atmospheric Ozone, Solar Radiation, 2004-2005
Author(s):
Volume: 382
Series: D-67
Volume: 382
Series: D-67
Ozone observations have been made by means of Dobson spectrophotometer No. 84 in the Geophysical Observatory at Belsk since March 1963. This publication presents all total ozone values and vertical distribution of ozone over Belsk in 2004 and 2005 obtained from the conventional Umkehr observations.
Results of Geomagnetic Observations, Hel Geophysical Observatory 2004
Author(s): Czyszek A., Czyszek J.
Volume: 381
Series: C-94
Volume: 381
Series: C-94
This volume contains the results of observations of the Earth magnetic field for the year 2004, carried out at the Geophysical Observatory at Hel near Gdańsk. It is a consecutive twenty-eighth report of similar results published since 1966.
