Results of Geomagnetic Observations, Hel Geophysical Observatory 1987
Author(s):
Volume: 217
Series: C-33
Volume: 217
Series: C-33
This volume contains the results of geomagnetic measurements carried out at the Geophysical Observatory at Hel near Gdańsk in 1987. It is a consecutive 10-th report of similar results published since 1966. A detailed description of the observatory and its history may be found in Publications of the Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences, C-5 (127).
Naprężenia we Wnętrzu Ziemi. Stresses in the Earth s Interior
Author(s): Teisseyre R.
Volume: 216
Series: M-12
Volume: 216
Series: M-12
Stresses in the Earth's interior are a direct cause for all dynamic processes within the Earth. In this monographic paper, they are analyzed in terms of their relation to motoric forces mechanisms on the one hand, and various geophysical fields and field anomalies on the other. Some regional or even local relationships have been examined too.
Earth Tides - Marees Terrestres, 1985/1986
Author(s):
Volume: 215
Series: F-15
Volume: 215
Series: F-15
The results of analysis of the consecutive (thirteen) series of the Earth tides observations, performed from June 1985 to May 1986 at the Książ station in Poland using a pair of Blum pendula, are presented. The analysis has been made in several variants by the classical method based on the least-squares technique. Lists of observations are presented.
Wykorzystanie Efektu Emisji Sejsmoakustycznej w Geotechnice. Geotechnical Applications of Seismoacoustic Emission
Author(s): Zuberek W.
Volume: 214
Series: M-11
Volume: 214
Series: M-11
Seismoacoustic (called also acoustic or geoacoustic) emission is generated in rocks as a result of various dynamic processes of deformation and fracturing. These processes are accompanied by sudden elastic energy release, and elastic waves are emitted from the source. The main purpose of this work was to explain the seismoacoustic phenomena from physical point of view, basing on the synthesis of observations which have been made until now.
Wybrane Zagadnienia Geofizycznych Badań w Kopalniach, Lubiatów, 18-22.05.1987 r. *** Some Geophysical Problems in Mines

Volume: 213
Series: M-10
Volume: 213
Series: M-10
A consecutive volume of publications related t mining geophysics, mainly to method of mine tremors studies, contains papers presented during the XVII Polish-Czechoslovakian Symposium at Lubiatów. Additionally a few papers are included, which have not been presented during the Symposium but are closely related to the topics of interest.
