Shear Cracks in an External Stress Field
Author(s): Niewiadomski J.
Volume: 150
Series: A-12
Volume: 150
Series: A-12
Deformations of the Earth's crust, which often manifest themself in the form of earthquakes, are a result of complex physical and chemical processes taking place within the Earth. They probably also depend on thermodynamically conditions and subsequent changes in physical and chemical properties of the material: modului of elasticity, heat conductivity, magnetic properties, or hydro-gaso-dynamic components (Savarensky et. al., 1972).
Atmospheric Ozone, Optics of Atmosphere, Solar Radiation, 1980
Author(s):
Volume: 149
Series: D-13
Volume: 149
Series: D-13
Ozone observations have been made by means of Dobson spectrophotometer No. 84 in the Geophysical Observatory at Belsk since March 1963. This publication presents all total ozone values and vertical distribution of ozone over station Belsk in 1980.
Électricité Atmosphérique et Météorologie Observatoire Géophysique de S. Kalinowski à Świder 1979
Author(s): Warzecha S.
Volume: 148
Series: D-12
Volume: 148
Series: D-12
This volume contains the results of recordings of some elements of atmospheric electricity and daily observations of major meteorological factors, noted at the S. Kalinowski Geophysical Observatory of the Polish Academy of Sciences at Świder in 1979.
Determination of Source Parameters from Seismograms of Mining Tremors and the Inverse Problem for a Seismic Source
Author(s): Cichowicz A.
Volume: 147
Series: A-11
Volume: 147
Series: A-11
Problem of seismic source modelling are considered. Changes in a theoretical pulse shape depending upon the adopted model of slip velocity on the fault plane are analyzed in details. The influence of the medium and of the recording instrument upon the pulse form is taken into account. Additionally, ground motions were determined from deconvolution of real records. A simple method of determining the source parameters directly from seismograms is described.
Seismological Bulletin 1978

Series: B-5
Volume: 145
Series: B-5
This bulletin presents the results of observations of distant earthquakes recorded by the seismic stations of the Institute of Geophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, including the Arctowski Antarctic Station, from October to December 1978. The local earthquakes recorded by the Arctowski Antarctic Station from March to December are listed separately (part 5).
